RECENT HIRE PROFILE

Hello! My name is Sara Evelyn Hesse, and I’m an Audit Associate in the Birmingham office. I started at Warren Averett in 2025, and right away I learned that my favorite thing about working here is the people. My coworkers truly make this place feel welcoming and fun. I’ll be honest, when I first started, I was really nervous. It was my first job out of college, and stepping into the “real world” on top of starting a new role felt like a lot. But once training began and I got to know more of what to expect and started making friends in the office, that nervousness faded pretty quickly.

During the week, you can usually find me out at clients’ offices around Birmingham performing fieldwork procedures, stopping by my supervisor’s cube to learn something new, or hanging out in the break room eating lunch with everyone. On the weekends, I love going on walks with friends, cheering on Mississippi State at sporting events, traveling whenever I can, and getting lost in a good book. My favorite Warren Averett value is Solid Relationships. It’s something I try to live out every day, both at work and in my personal life.
