Marketing Intern

Warren Averett CPAs and Advisors is looking for a Marketing Intern to join our team. As a valued member of the Marketing Department, the intern will contribute to a dynamic team by assisting with editing and creating collateral for various channels, event preparation, weekly/monthly data reporting requirements and more. Some of the duties include:

Public Relations

· Assist with creating and updating biographies and service brochures (sell sheets) for the Firm

· Assist with special projects and campaigns (including building components of email campaigns)

· Assist with PowerPoint presentations for client meetings, proposals and internal meetings

· Assist with coordination for social media posts, firm intranet posts and create/manage select intranet pages

· Assist with maintaining media contacts and identifying new outlets to add to list

Proposal Responsibilities

· Assist with RFP responses and proposal material under the direction of the Proposal    Coordinator and other Marketing staff

· Schedule/Coordinate calls/meetings

· Assist with production of drafts and handouts by making content edits and formatting    changes in Microsoft Word or Microsoft Teams

· Assist with printing, binding and mailing proposals

· Archive past proposals and presentations to the appropriate locations

Other Responsibilities

· Assist with event preparation and set up

· Assist with weekly and monthly reporting and data recording

· Assist with synthesizing data for presentations and reports

· Assist with photoshoot coordination for specific offices

· Assist with researching industry-specific trends and accounting-related news

· Assist with entering and managing data in the Firm’s CRM system (HubSpot)

· Manage printed collateral and marketing supplies and reorder as necessary

Requirements

· Pursuing a degree in public relations, business, marketing, journalism, English or a related degree

· Demonstrated PC experience: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, Adobe Creative Suite

· Strong attention to detail

· Deadline driven and excellent time management skills; must be able to multi-task and     thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere with short timelines and multiple priorities

· Excellent communication and listening skills

·  Excellent grammar, research, verbal and written communication

·  Ability to learn new software packages, as necessary (i.e. Hubspot)

·  Dependable
