Warren Averett Staffing and Recruiting is looking for an experienced benefits administrator to sit in our Birmingham, AL or Montgomery, AL office.  The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing all facets of benefits administration and compliance
  • Responsible for ACA and other required reporting
  • Main liaison for benefit carriers, vendors, HR team, Payroll and employees
  • Preparation and review of Open Enrollment periods
  • Responsible for keeping printed and online benefit materials and communications up-to-date
  • Develop and oversee Leave of Absence administration efforts
  • Assists with other HR compliance needs such as auditing records and processes

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience administering benefit plans
  • Experience working directly with insurance carriers
  • Experience with a sophisticated online enrollment system
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to independently manage workload and prioritize duties
  • Comfort with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Prior experience with Ultimate Software preferred, but not required
